APRE, Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea
APRE, Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea is a non-profit research organization and was created in 1989 as a joint initiative of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and some public and private bodies in order to meet the growing demand for information on European research programs. MITACS
MITACS is a Canadian national network gathering companies, universities and local governments in order to develop R&D&I projects in Canada. MITACS Globalink Research Internship program is designed to select specialists for a research internship supervised by one of the 66 Canadian member universities. Eligible organizations are able to apply to one of the 1000 12-week research internships within the network and benefit from financial aid and mentoring during their stay in Canada. These exchanges strengthen research collaborations between Canada and the EU and encourage mobility of faculty members. The MITACS Accelerate program has already supported over 10,000 internships nationally through its main programs. MITACS works with 70+ partner universities in Canada and with thousands of companies.

As a Carnegie Classified R1 “Doctoral University with Highest Research Activity”, TEMPLE runs a variety of research, education, and commercialization centers and institutes, including the Small Business Development Center that is the US lead on ENRICH in the USA since January 2021. The Office of Technology Commercialization and Business Development has 450+ invention disclosures, more than 30 active Spinouts/Startups, and $440+ million in outside capital to advance technologies toward product launch over the past 5 years. This Office is opening its network of Tier 1 faculty, advisors, mentors, and experts, as well as support teams and interns, to EU NGI innovators and consortium partners.

FERMILAB, FERMI RESEARCH ALLIANCE LLC, is the main American particle physics laboratory and collaborates with more than 50 countries on physics experiments based in the US and elsewhere. Its mission is to drive discovery by performing pioneering research with national and global partners and developing new technologies for science. Funded by the Department of Energy, and located at Fermilab, Illinois, US, the Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems (SQMS) is a national center, with an international flavor, to bring about transformational advances in quantum information science as a part of the U.S. Quantum Initiative. The SQMS Center has the ambitious goal of building and deploying a beyond-state-of-the-art Quantum Computer over the next five years as part of an international collaborative effort involving 20 partner institutions. The SQMS Center works towards the creation and implementation of programs to train the next generation of scientists and engineers, by promoting undergraduate and graduate students’ internship programs. This year SQMS has hired 30 young researchers and is prioritizing several key initiatives to elevate diversity, equity, and inclusion across the Center.

STI Management
STI Management (previously EUrelations AG): is the first Research and Innovation Management Agency (RIMA) founded in Switzerland in 2005. They design and manage complex national and international collaboration projects, support the acquisition of funding and the know-how transfer in between scientific disciplines and industrial sectors. STI Management develops methods and more systematic approaches for boosting research and innovation (R&I).
