After three years of collaboration, experimentation and transatlantic exchange, the NGI Enrichers programme has officially come to an end. Funded by the European Union and implemented by a strong consortium of European and North American partners, NGI Enrichers supported European innovators and researchers in accessing U.S. and Canadian ecosystems through fellowships, mentorship, bootcamps and community building.

Over the lifetime of the programme, NGI Enrichers helped build a unique bridge between the European innovation ecosystem and North America, empowering fellows and hosts while fostering lasting professional connections across borders. The programme leaves behind not only results, but also a vibrant community of researchers, entrepreneurs, mentors and ecosystem builders.

Discover the NGI Enrichers Success Story Books

As part of the project’s legacy, NGI Enrichers has published four Success Story Books, now available on our website. These include one book dedicated to host organisations and three books presenting the journeys and outcomes of each fellows’ cohort. Together, they showcase the innovative projects carried out, the collaborations built, and the impacts achieved by the 59 NGI Enrichers fellows across three cohorts. More than publications, they are a lasting asset for the community, giving visibility to participants and opening the door to new partnerships.

A new Post-Project Initiative Builds on the Legacy of NGI Enrichers

With the conclusion of the NGI Enrichers programme, the project’s impact continues to grow beyond its funded duration. One of our North American partners has launched a new initiative — the ENRICHERS Tech Collaboration Programme — directly inspired by the methodology, experience and achievements of NGI Enrichers.

Although this new programme is a separate commercial service and not part of NGI Enrichers, it represents a clear continuation of the project’s legacy, demonstrating how its outcomes are being carried forward and transformed into sustainable innovation support services.

Recognised by EISMEA

The ENRICHERS Tech Collaboration Programme has been published and acknowledged by EISMEA as building upon the success of NGI Enrichers.

See the programme presentation on the EISMEA website.

The new programme offers researchers and innovators from Europe and associated countries the opportunity to spend three months in the U.S. or Canada, collaborating with leading universities, research groups and principal investigators. It places particular emphasis on supporting women innovators and Ukrainian participants.

The programme aims to promote knowledge exchange, deep-tech collaboration and the creation of long-term transatlantic partnerships, providing fellows and hosts with mentoring, community-building opportunities, and visibility.
